Digital Strategist

Metal Toad Media is looking for a Digital Strategist to join our in-office Portland team. In this role your responsibilities will include:

  • Fielding requests from new potential clients
  • Working with customers to identify overall project goals and digital solutions
  • Working with the production team to ensure documentation and code solves the clients needs
  • Maintaining regular contact with clients via email and in-person meetings
  • Learning about and staying abreast of new technologies
  • Creation of proposals & project estimates (with the developers)
  • Making lemonade

IMPORTANT: This is an in office position, so you must be local to Portland, Oregon. No outsourced firms or remote workers need apply.

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in the web industry
  • Good technical estimation ability
  • Word & Excel skills
  • A passion for web technology
  • A strong desire to help people
  • Excellent character
  • Familiarity with software development methodologies (XP, Scrum, etc)
  • Good communication skills & a great can-do attitude

Pluses:

  • BS in Computer Science or related field
  • Drupal experience
  • WordPress experience
  • HTML & CSS experience
  • Programming experience
  • A Github account
