Waterloo Restaurant Ventures: Web Based Application

Objective:

To create a completely web-based application that would allow the corporate office to track all employee paperwork, create new forms, and comply with various state and local regulations for food service employees. Each form would need to be complete with digital signatures permanently attached to a PDF copy of the document for archival purposes.

Waterloo Restaurant Ventures is a development partner with Brinker International, opening Romano's Macaroni Grills all over Northern California, Oregon, Washington, and parts of Idaho. While going through a rapid expansion phase, the Human Resources department came to a disturbing conclusion—for every restaurant acquired, they moved 18,000 pieces of paper a year.
